Palate: A very textual style. Flavours of pure white fruits intermingled with ripe gooseberry, brioche and a subtle hints of minerallity
reminiscent of Coffin Bay oysters.

Winemaking: Each variety was harvested separately in the coolest part of the morning. The Sauvignon Blanc was crushed and received
some skin contact to increase perfume and intensity of flavours before crushing. In contrast the Semillon was whole cluster pressed.
Blending of the two varieties then took place with 50% barrel fermented and matured for 10 months and the remaning fermented
in stainless steel on its original fermentation lees for freshness and fruit purity. Final blending then took place to a produce this excellent example of a textural style.

Vintage: The cool ripening conditions of 2009 were ideally suited to the aromatic whites Sauvignon Blanc and Semillon. These climatic conditions translated into naturally balanced fruit, charactered by delicate floral perfumes and magnificent fineness of natural acidity and
minerality.
