Chardonnay - 2010
The Yarra Valley is possibly the ultimate region in Australia for Chardonnay. Our goal is simple; add to that reputation with our definitive vineyard site coupled with the finest clones to create a modern age, premium chardonnay.
The hand picked fruit was gently pressed and the free run juice barrel fermented with both indigenous and cultured yeast.
Matured on lees for nine months with a small portion allowed malo-lactic fermentation to create depth and balance.
The wine has white peach and roasted cashew bouquet. A linear fresh citrus character runs through the palate supported by good weight and length before an apple crisp finish.
