Patrick of Coonawarra
Pat Tocaciu is a very well respected and successful winemaker. His classically presented premium wines are the fruit of his 30 year vision that has only now become a reality. Viticulturalist Rex Hutchison uses biodynamic techniques in the vineyards, producing grapes from quality assured methods for Pat to create outstanding wines. The wines are dynamic and contemporary.
Fruit is taken from two vineyards, the first in Coonawarra (2 hectares) surrounding the family home and the second in Wrattonbully (40 hectares). The Home Block range comes from the Coonawarra and the Joanna range represents the Sauvignon, Riesling and Shiraz from Wrattonbully (an area with limestone fossil beds under the dunes where the grapes grow).
