Larks Head Cabernet Merlot Franc - 2006

Wine Notes

The growing season was terrific with no frosts, warm temperatures and timely rains before a dry and mild harvest period. The ripe flavors were achieved without vine stress or a need to rush the fruit.

The Larks Head blend is a vineyard blend of 50% Cabernet Sauvignon 25% Merlot and 25% Cabernet Franc. Grown in the cool hills south of Bendigo this vineyard and its wine is one of consistent quality with silky fruit and gentle tannins. Matured for 23 months in French and American oak

14.5 % Alcohol by volume.
