Sauvignon Blanc Golden Mile - 2006
Marlborough, NZ
Winemaking Team: Swan Michel and International Wine Consultant Guy Brac de la Perriére.
Fermentation: In stainless steel tanks under temperature control.
Tasting Notes: Continuing the gold medal standard of our previous Sauvignon Blanc, and using grapes selected only from the Rapaura region this excellent wine perpetuates a winning tradition. A very typical Marlborough Sauvignon that showcases ripe fruit-filled gooseberry flavours and herbaceous aromas of freshly cut grass. The dry, lingering palate springs to life with zingy and zestful characteristics synonymous with this region.
Serving Suggestions: 12°C-15°C. This wine is best enjoyed in its youth with some seafood, grilled chicken, pork or vegetarian dishes, or simply on its own.
