The accolades continue!

We like to think that our wineries offer a delightful drinking experience and value for money, but it is nice to have this endorsed with show results and medals. Each of our brands has shown us this year that they are very consistent with the accolades appearing on a regular basis.

As mentioned in a news item in August, the Boutique Wine Awards provided great success for Patrick of Coonawarra. They also provided a great result for Thomas Vineyard Estate, in which this was the first show for the new release Verdelho. The results are listed below:

Australian Boutique Wine Awards 2010

  • 2009 Patrick T Wines Riesling - Gold Medal & Trophy, 56 points (Trophy top Riesling of Show)
  • 2010 Thomas Vineyard Estate Verdelho - Bronze Medal, 47.5 points (top rated Verdelho)

2010 Soumah Savarro - Silver Medal, 52 points (equal top rated Savagnin)

Qantas Wine Show of Western Australia

2009 Warner Glen Estate Sauvignon Blanc Semillon - Gold Medal, points

These results come at a great time when spring is finally on the scene and delightful whites such as those listed above make for a lovely selection for the fridge, dinner party or picnic!
